The focus of the course is on algebraic topics: exponents, polynomials, linear equations and inequalities, applications of linear equations, graphing linear equations and inequalities, basic radicals, factoring concepts, rational expressions, systems of linear equations, and problem solving/applications. This course also provides an introduction to quadratic equations needed for progression into MAT 110 .
