The course also introduces the student to the physiology of gas exchange mechanisms and acid/base balance, including arterial blood gas interpretation. Prerequisite(s): ORI 103 , COM 121 , RES 150 , RES 212  with a 2.0 or better and a cumulative of 2.5 or better.
