MAT 032 - Mathematical Literacy 4 Credit Hours
This course is for any student not pursuing a STEM or Health Professions program of study. College success content will be combined with mathematical topics in the context of real problems. This course will integrate numeracy, proportional reasoning, algebraic reasoning, functions, and basic statistical applications, along with critical thinking, reading, written responses, and problem solving.
Prerequisite(s): MAT 020 with a “C” or better, or appropriate score on Math placement exam
