PHY 255 - College Physics II 4 Credit Hours (Lab)
This course is a calculus based physics course with emphasis on the physical principles of electricity, magnetism, and optics. Among the topics are: electrostatics, direct current circuits, magnetism, electromagnetic induction, capacitance and inductance, alternating current circuits, geometrical optics, lenses and mirrors, and wave optics. Students will be expected to perform experiments and interpret results using the basic theories of physics.
Prerequisite(s): MAT 221 and PHY 250
