NUR 103 - Physical Assessment and Application of Nursing Process 2 Credit Hours
This course provides the students with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform a comprehensive health assessment utilizing history taking, inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation. Theoretical and laboratory experiences will provide students the abilities to implement assessment strategies, as well as expected assessment findings, frequently seen variations from expected assessments, and how cultural differences can impact assessment and findings.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 255 Anatomy and Physiology II (Must achieve a “C” or higher)
COM 121 English Composition I (Must achieve a “C” or higher)
NUR 101 Nursing I Fundamentals of Nursing (Must achieve a “C+” or higher)
