THR 140 - Lighting Design

2 Credit Hours

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of theatrical lighting design. Through a combination of practical theory and in-person labs, students explore lighting instruments, hanging and focusing techniques, light plots, cueing, and basic board programming. Emphasis is placed on safe practices and collaborations in real-world production settings.

Prerequisite(s): COM 098 or EAP 060 and EAP 050
