BIO 275 - Biotechnology Techniques 4 Credit Hours
This course will allow students to enhance theoretical and practical hands-on skills in the operation, maintenance, and calibration of commonly used and specialized biotechnology laboratory instrumentation. Laboratory procedures will include solution preparation, aseptic technique, protein separations and assays, electrophoresis, and recombinant DNA technology. Emphasis is placed on good laboratory practices, data analysis, troubleshooting, and proper documentation of scientific experiments.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 160 with a grade of C or better
