THR 293 - Theatre Production

3 Credit Hours

Theatre Elective invites students to the collaborative process of taking a play or musical from the page to the stage by participating as a cast or behind-the-scenes member of the production team. While examining theater as it represents culture, students will see how each of the stakeholders in a production contribute to the success of a fully realized production. In addition, students will gain an overview of the research, planning, and decision-making necessary to interpret themes on stage for a live audience.
