MAT 210 - Statistics 3 Credit Hours
An introduction to statistical concepts including: understanding of and ability to use graphs; frequency distributions; measures of central tendency, dispersion and position; probability; various distributions and their properties; sample size; confidence intervals; hypothesis testing; linear correlation and regression analysis; and Chi-Square; tests of Independence/Homogeneity, one-way ANOVA, and Goodness-of-fit.
Prerequisite(s): MAT 030 , MAT 032 , or MAT 035 with a grade of “C” or better, or appropriate score on the placement test; COM 061 or ESL 060 and COM 051 or ESL 050
