The Administrative Office Specialist Program is designed to provide students with the competencies necessary to obtain employment as administrative specialists. College credit may be granted through Tech Prep articulation agreements between RACC and approved secondary schools.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, the students should be able to:
- Demonstrate technical competency in computer skills to produce business correspondence from various formatted sources with speed and accuracy.
- Apply office procedures to set priorities, organize work, and use appropriate technology to fulfill responsibilities of the position.
- Exhibit effective writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication skills individually and as part of teams in face-to-face and virtual environments within homogeneous and heterogeneous cultures.
- Utilize business standards and practices to fulfill the expectations of the position and mission of the organization while adhering to the ethics policy.
