Foundational Studies Division
The Integrative Studies AA degree prepares students for the workplace and to transfer to a four-year college or university. Students are prepared with general education courses in humanities, mathematics, science, and social science as a foundation to their education. Additionally, this program allows students to customize up to 30 credits of electives to serve their needs in the workplace and provide a recognizable degree to better support transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
Program Learning Outcomes
- Provide examples of human diversity and global issues through the exploration of arts, culture, economics, history and/or scientific data.
- Apply quantitative skills and modern scientific principles.
- Apply skills necessary to communicate effectively in written and spoken forms.
- Apply principles of critical thinking to demonstrate learning across academic disciplines
