This program, designed to prepare a student for transfer to a variety of bachelor’s programs, provides an opportunity to develop creative writing in multiple genres by honing a reflective awareness of craft and aesthetic.
Program Competencies
Upon successful completion of the program, the student should be able to:
- Develop a reflective awareness of aesthetic and creative process.
- Demonstrate an ability to effectively participate in the workshop format.
- Develop creative work that demonstrates mastery of multiple literary techniques.
- Demonstrate an ability to professionally navigate the world of publishing.
