Social Science & Human Services Pathway
The Social Science Pathway provides insight into the human condition. It is a good choice for you if you have a passion for learning about cultures, past events and civilizations, or social issues. Anthropology- the study of experiences of humans in diverse cultures around the world, History- the study of human achievements and failings through time or, Sociology- the study of social life and social change. The Social Science Pathway provides the foundation for advanced study in academic disciplines it comprises.
After further education, this academic pathway can lead to a wide range of careers including: law, public policy, education, journalism, historic preservation, archeology, international studies and government service.
Human Services Pathway
The Human Services Academic Pathway is a good option for you if you’re compassionate, have a desire to serve others, enjoy using research-based methods to serve others, and want to help improve individual lives and society as a whole.
After further education, this academic pathway can lead to careers in the fields of: Criminal Justice, Human Services, Addictions and Recovery, Psychology, and Social Work.
Transfer Programs
Transfer programs are designed to prepare students to transfer to a college or university to complete a bachelor’s degree.
Career Programs
Career programs are designed to prepare students for employment or advancement in a specific career field.
