HTT 120 - Histotechnology Techniques

The purpose of this course is to build on Introduction to Histology (HTT 110) and prepare the histology technician student for the clinical experience in the summer semester of the program. In this course, general laboratory techniques, safety and professional issues will be expanded upon. Contemporary topics in histology will be discussed. The course will cover introductory basic concepts and procedures used in each of the major areas of the histology laboratory.

Prerequisite(s): HTT 110 with a C or better; MAT 130
